A Bluebook-style practice test with original questions
The mock test lives on the Solo Prep self-study platform at test.satsoloprep.com, which has an English interface. Each test is a full Digital SAT: Reading and Writing (R&W) and Math, two modules each, with a timer on every module.
The screen copies the parts of Bluebook that matter on test day: the split passage and question view, answer elimination, marking a question for review, a question navigator and the module timer. Practicing in that layout means nothing on the real screen is new to you.

The questions are written by Solo Prep, not taken from College Board tests. They are built by a team that has analyzed more than 100,000 SAT questions and written more than 10,000 of its own. Each test in the library is made of its own set of questions.
Test structure and adaptive routing
The mock test follows the official Digital SAT layout. Your result on Module 1 of each section decides whether Module 2 is the harder or the easier version, the same routing the real test uses.
| Module | Questions | Time | Adaptive |
|---|---|---|---|
| R&W Module 1 | 27 | 32 min | No |
| R&W Module 2 | 27 | 32 min | Yes |
| Math Module 1 | 22 | 35 min | No |
| Math Module 2 | 22 | 35 min | Yes |
| Total | 98 | 134 min |
For how the sections and modules work on the official test, see SAT structure and the Digital SAT explained.
How to take the mock test
Create an account at test.satsoloprep.com.
- Choose a test
Pick a full-length test from the mock test library.
- Take all four modules
Work through R&W and Math in the Bluebook-style screen under the real time limits. Sit it in one go, the way you will on test day.
- Check your score
Your scaled score, domain breakdown and estimated percentile appear as soon as you finish.
- Review and repeat
Go through the error analysis, drill the weak question types, and track your progress over later tests.
What the score report shows
Every mock test produces three views of your results: a score report, an error analysis and a growth tracker.

| Report | What you see |
|---|---|
| Score report | Total and section scores, raw scores, whether you were routed to the harder Module 2, scores by domain, estimated percentile, your strongest and weakest areas |
| Error analysis | Accuracy by question type, accuracy by difficulty, each wrong answer with the choice you made, the correct answer and an explanation, and time spent on each question |
| Growth tracking | Score trend across tests, progress toward your target score, and change in accuracy by domain |
The time data is often the most useful part. It shows where you lose minutes, for example a few hard inference questions that eat the time you needed at the end of a module.
How it differs from the official Bluebook tests
| Official Bluebook practice tests | Solo Prep mock test | |
|---|---|---|
| Questions | Written by College Board | Original questions written by Solo Prep |
| Format | Adaptive, 4 modules, timed | Adaptive, 4 modules, timed |
| Where you take it | Bluebook app | Web browser at test.satsoloprep.com |
| Results | Scores and question review in My Practice | Instant score, accuracy by question type, domain breakdown, percentile estimate, time per question |
| How many | A fixed set of official tests | A library of separate tests |
Official tests are the best measure of where you stand, so save some for the final weeks. Use the mock test for extra full-length practice in between, when you need to check timing and stamina without spending an unseen official test. The official SAT practice tests page lists every College Board test and how to schedule them.

FAQ
Is the Solo Prep mock test adaptive?

How long does the mock test take?
134 minutes of testing: two 32-minute R&W modules and two 35-minute Math modules, 98 questions in all.
Are the questions from real SAT tests?
No. They are original questions written by Solo Prep in the Digital SAT format. For official questions, use the Bluebook practice tests and the College Board question bank.
Is the interface in English?
Yes. The practice app at test.satsoloprep.com has an English interface.
How accurate is the score?
It is an estimate based on Solo Prep questions, and the percentile is an estimate too. Compare it with a recent official Bluebook score before you set a target.
